Organic Products

I know that eating clean can get really expensive. Organic products are usually pricier than non organic products.I came across this website that called Environment Working Group. Here you can find a list of products that are safe to buy non organic called the clean 15 list. There is also a list called dirty dozen those are products you want to buy at an organic super market.

By no means am i trying to say to no eat fruits or veggies if they are not organic. It would be alto worse to not intake any fruits and veggies at all. Not in-taking any would have a worse effect than in-taking them with pesticides. How ever there are a lot of important benefits to consuming organic products. the most important to me is avoiding pesticides.

Let me tell you a few reasons why you should avoid pesticides. Pesticides are toxic, they are designed to kill insects, plants and fungi. Accordion to research pesticides put peoples heath in danger. They are linked to cancer and hormone disruption. They have also been proven to cause skin, lung and eye irritation. This is why it is important to try to consume more organic foods.

Organic products contain fewer pesticides. Organic Food is usually fresher because it doesn't  contain any of the preservatives that make it last longer. With the consumption of organic products not only are you keeping your body healthy you are also helping the environment. Organic arming practices reduce pollution, conserve water reduce soil erosion, and use less energy. Farming without pesticides is also better for nearby birds and small animals as well as the people who harvest our foods.

I mention earlier that consuming organic foods can be a bit more pricey; however, if you think about it in the long run it might end up saving you some money. How? well if you make the commitment to eat organic foods you will eat at restaurants less often. You'll also pack your lunch more often than not and eat cook from scratch.

The eating organic trend is becoming more popular according to the Organic Trade Association, 78 percent of American families purchase organic foods. This percentage is increasing as more consumer are becoming aware of the many health benefits conferred by organic foods. Now days there are platy of markets that sell organic products. For example here is the Portland area we have Trader Joe's. Trader Joe's is my persona favorite everything there is organic and affordable. It is a small super market compared to others, but the quality of their products is great.Trader Joe's also offers a free cell phone app in this application you can find tasting note which are reviews that customers post about their products, You can also find deleted nutritional information and store location. I have this app on my iPhone and i love it it comes in handy i have disturber alto of new products trough peoples taste notes.  There is also other stores like New seasons and whole foods i am not very familiar with this st

  2. eating well and organically whenever possible has so many health benefits, but also some financial benefits. As I have been exercising and eating better, I will spend a little less monthly on foods over all as I am no longer buying overpriced bad foods everyday.
I have also noticed that most organic foods simply taste better. so that's nice.

  3. Part of the problem is that Americans now expect their food to be beautiful and uniform. If you ever grow your own vegetables or fruit, you see a far greater variety of shapes and sizes, as well as surface scars from various environmental agents (bugs, blights). Genetic engineering has produced the beautiful bit tasteless tomatoes we buy supermarkets--a little creepy!
